How it's judged
Essays are read without names by two readers. The top five go to Elliot Singer, Conduit Law's Founder & Managing Attorney, who picks the winner. We look for a clear idea, a real place or problem, a realistic plan, and your own voice.
Apply
Applications open Nov 2.
The fine print
- One entry per person.
- Conduit Law employees, their families, and current or former Conduit Law clients and their households aren't eligible.
- We collect only your name, email, school, city and essay, and use them only to run this scholarship.
- Applying doesn't create an attorney-client relationship, and we won't contact you about legal services.
- The winner's first name, school and essay excerpt may be published with their permission.
- Funds are sent directly to the winner's school.
- We may extend the deadline if we don't receive eligible entries.

- Scoring. Two readers, including one reader from outside the firm, score each essay blind on a 1–5 scale.
