Elliot Singer, Conduit Law’s founding personal injury attorney, has devoted his legal career to advocating for accident victims and those who have suffered catastrophic injuries. He is an experienced trial attorney specializing in car accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death cases, having most recently practiced as a civil rights and employment Assistant Attorney General with the Colorado Department of Law. Prior to serving as a government trial attorney, Elliot litigated complex injury cases on behalf of plaintiffs in state and federal district courts in private practice and completed a judicial clerkship. His deep knowledge of personal injury law and insurance litigation enables him to guide accident victims throughout what is often a lengthy and overwhelming recovery process.
As a dedicated accident and injury attorney, Elliot is there for his clients at every step – from initial medical treatment through settlement negotiations with insurance companies, and if necessary, litigation, trial, and appeal. While maximizing compensation for his injured clients is always his top priority, Elliot works every case both strategically and professionally. He highly values maintaining positive relationships with not only accident victims but also medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, opposing counsel, and the court. Although pre-trial settlement is sometimes optimal for injury victims, Elliot has first-chaired numerous personal injury trials and prides himself on unparalleled preparation and knowledge of medical evidence in complex car accident, brain injury, and wrongful death cases.
Elliot received his B.A. magna cum laude from Cornell University in 2008 and his J.D. cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2014. While at Tulane, he was Moot Court Chief Justice, a Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, and appellate moot court champion. Upon graduation, Elliot received membership in the Order of Barristers as well as the prestigious Tulane 36 award. Prior to law school, Elliot served as a Teach For America corps member in New Orleans where he taught elementary school and completed a trans-America self-contained bicycle trip.

Jonathan Mahler, who proudly serves as Conduit Law’s Firm Manager and Paralegal, has always worked with people to help them get to the next step in their lives. He graduated from Cornell University alongside Elliot before entering a career in real estate as a broker and then investor. Before starting Conduit Law, Jonathan had a counseling practice to help clients work towards their own actualization.
Jonathan saw an opportunity to combine his experience in business and counseling to aid the founding of a law firm and its mission to represent individuals in their fight against injustices large and small. Over the past two years, Jonathan has successfully handled hundreds of motor vehicle accident cases, demonstrating his commitment to helping clients obtain not only the compensation they deserve but also the treatment that their healing path requires. Known as a fierce negotiator, Jonathan leverages his diverse background to advocate effectively for his clients’ interests.
As Head of Claims at Conduit Law, Carrie Soundy brings over six years of invaluable experience in personal injury case settlement and accident claim management. Her extensive background encompasses work across multiple state jurisdictions, demonstrating her versatility and comprehensive understanding of various personal injury frameworks. Her expertise in auto accident claims, insurance negotiations, and injury settlements ensures optimal outcomes for our clients. As a certified Colorado notary public, Carrie adds another layer of expertise to our firm’s service offerings, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of accident claim documentation.
Known for her upbeat attitude and dedication to accident victims’ needs, Carrie is an indispensable team player who consistently goes above and beyond to support both colleagues and injured clients through their claims process. When she’s not expertly managing personal injury claims or assisting with settlement documentation, Carrie enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, paddleboarding, and traveling. Andrea Tafel serves as Intake Paralegal at Conduit Law, where she combines personal injury expertise with a natural talent for putting accident victims at ease. Her comprehensive background includes managing complex case portfolios, with expertise in both pre-litigation and litigation processes. As a certified paralegal from Capital University Law School, Taylor has developed particular proficiency in wrongful death cases and minor settlements, making her ideally suited to oversee the settlements process.
